The Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce is committed to fostering a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion where members can thrive. The Chamber is excited to recognize businesses in the Tri-Cities that support employees and communities to celebrate and embrace differences, becoming more inclusive workplaces for all employees and welcoming businesses for their communities. This award can be nominated for a person or company/business.
Requirements
- General eligibility (need to meet at least one of these requirements)
- An outstanding DEI program: for businesses with comprehensive and impactful DEI programs
- An innovative DEI initiative: for a unique or creative approach to enhancing DEI
- DEI Leadership: for companies demonstrating exceptional leadership in advancing DEI internally or externally
- Community Impact: For businesses making significant contributions to the Tri-Cities' diversity and inclusion efforts
- Emerging DEI Champion: for newer businesses or people who have made significant strides in DEI within a short time
- Nominees business must have been in business for at least one year prior to the nomination.
- For business awards - Nominees must be a registered business or not-for-profit serving the Tri-Cities (valid business license)
- For individual awards - Nominees must either live in the Tri-Cities or their business must be located in the Tri-Cities.
- An organization or individual is ineligible to win the same award category more than once in three years.
- Nominees will be required to complete a judging questionnaire for review by the judging panel
- Active members of the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce's Board of Directors are ineligible to receive an award.

Sustainability: the long-term sustainability and scalability of DEI initiatives | 20.0% |
